About the role
Reporting to the National Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and service delivery of Security Officers working across a range of predominantly static night-shift assignments. This is a hands-on supervisory position combining field-based supervision of Security Officers across multiple client sites with mobile patrol duties. You will spend a significant portion of each shift on the road, visiting sites, supporting Security Officers and undertaking scheduled mobile patrols and alarm responses.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting Security Officers across multiple client locations
- Conducting regular site visits and welfare/performance checks
- Ensuring officers are correctly presented,
punctual and performing their duties in accordance with site requirements
- Checking and completing electronic reports
- Rostering
- Providing guidance and immediate operational support to officers throughout the night
- Identifying and addressing service delivery or compliance issues
- Responding to incidents and escalating significant matters to management
- Completing scheduled mobile patrols, lock/unlock services and alarm responses
About you
- A current Victorian Private Security Licence
- Current Victorian driver's licence and strong driving record
- Previous security experience, ideally including supervisory, mobile patrol or team leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to manage performance issues professionally and constructively
- Valuable judgement and the ability to make decisions independently
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- A professional presentation and customer-service focus
- The ability and willingness to work permanent night shifts
