Occupational Therapist | Early Childhood (0–9 Years)

Permanent Full-Time | Part-Time | Casual The Co-Group is proud to be partnering with an established and growing allied health organisation to recruit a passionate Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team supporting children aged 0–9 years and their families across Southwest and Northwest Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist, or a clinician looking to further develop their expertise in early intervention, to join a supportive environment where clinical development, collaboration and quality outcomes are genuinely valued. You’ll work alongside Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals to deliver meaningful, family-centred outcomes for children.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver assessments and interventions focused on child development, participation and functional outcomes
- Support children experiencing developmental delays, autism, sensory processing challenges and functional skill difficulties
- Provide therapy across clinic, community, educational and home environments
- Complete functional assessments and develop family-centred therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with parents, educators, carers and broader support networks
- Prescribe and recommend assistive technology and therapeutic supports where appropriate
- Develop comprehensive reports and recommendations to support funding and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary service delivery and collaborative care planning
- Build positive relationships with children and families while supporting meaningful,

- Is confident working autonomously while valuing clinical supervision and peer support

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
