Customised Freight Solutions (CFS) is a growing Australian freight management business that helps companies move freight smarter. For 20 years we've managed bookings, carrier relationships, tracking, reporting and tailored freight solutions across road, air, local, interstate, bulky and specialised freight — trusted by 500+ freight clients across the country, backed by industry-leading technology. We're a close-knit team based in Croydon South, and our steady growth means the operations team needs another reliable pair of hands. This isn't a "wear ten hats" startup role, and it isn't a noisy sales floor. It's a clearly defined operations position in a calm, structured office — with proper training, documented processes, and an experienced team leader who will show you exactly how we do things. What your day looks like

• Keeping the daily operation flowing — monitoring freight movements across our carrier network in our transport management system and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

- Tracking consignments daily and keeping ETAs, PODs and statuses up to date
- Following up with carriers to resolve delays, redeliveries and queries — first call resolution is how we work
- Being a reliable point of contact for our customers — clear, timely communication so they always know where their freight is and that their needs are being met




- Assisting clients with bookings and quotes when they need a hand — from single pallets to bulky and specialised freight
- Following our established workflows — and flagging anything that doesn't look right

You'll always know what's expected, what the priorities are, and who to ask. Your team leader handles the curveballs; your job is to keep the engine running.

What we're looking for

• Someone dependable — you show up, follow through, and finish the job

- Strong attention to detail — bookings, addresses and PODs have to be right
- Comfortable with routine and repetition — accuracy at volume is the skill here
- Comfortable on the phone and explicit in writing — you'll talk to carriers and clients every day, always with a process behind you
- Experience in freight or logistics is a bonus, not a requirement — for the right candidate, we're happy to train from the ground up. Attitude and reliability matter more than your CV
