Due to the continued growth of our clients’ operations, we are searching for a proven Operations Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for taking charge and overseeing daily operations, whilst providing guidance to team members, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard. This is a Perth based position.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Working closely with the General Manager & Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of all operational business activities.
- Using your previous experience along with a vision for the future, you will be an integral part of the company’s expansion, whilst ensuring current operations are completed to the company’s standards.
- Outline requirements relative to Daily Drilling Reports (DDR’s), Requisitions (REQs), stock transfers, supervisor reports etc.
- Assist in the planning and establishment of successful systems and processes across the business operations.
- Generate and reconcile monthly purchasing orders specific to the company’s projects.
- Continually provide support in the compilation and delivery of client reports.
- Support the ongoing recruitment of new employees.
- Provide support and guidance for employee growth and development.
- Participate in health, safety and environment committees, client risk assessments or other project related OH&S; activities as required.
- Source new work either through the extension of existing contracts or the development of new contracts with existing or new clients to increase future work.
- Lead by example and comply with Hagstrom integrated Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management system inclusive of its associated Policies and Procedures.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills & attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Drilling sector.
- Experience working in the Australian market is essential.
- Minimum of diploma in Drilling or Business.
- Sound computer/database skills i.e. Microsoft Word, Project etc...
- Demonstrates strong initiative and drive to successfully deliver on the company’s vision for growth.
- Be highly organised and task oriented.
- Have a solid work desire and ethic.
- Be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
