We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily field operations in the testing and commissioning of sewer and water pipelines in SEQ, coordinate crews and equipment, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive efficient project completion. This role blends leadership, scheduling, logistics, and technical oversight to keep our civil operations running smoothly.

As a pivotal link between the field and management, you will use your technical expertise in water and sewer infrastructure to deliver high-quality projects, support clients, and strictly uphold our rigorous compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Project Delivery

- Supervise field crews: Lead, mentor, and monitor daily activities of testing and commissioning teams on-site.
- Coordinate assets: Schedule and allocate crews, vehicles, plant, and specialized equipment efficiently.
- Drive project completion: Oversee daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Problem-solve in office: Address technical, logistical, or environmental challenges quickly to prevent project delays.

Client Support & Commercial Administration

- Client relationship management: Support and guide clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects.
- Estimation and billing: Accurate quoting for upcoming jobs and timely processing of invoices.

Quality, Compliance & Asset Management

- Maintain meticulous records: Diligently keep project records and update company registers.
- Uphold strict accreditations:



Maintain standards required for regular audits against ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and our NATA Accreditation.
- Calibrate equipment: Organise and track the regular calibration of specialized testing equipment.
- Fleet and plant maintenance: Oversee routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules for all vehicles and equipment.

Role Requirements Experience & Technical Knowledge

- Civil field expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of sewer and water mains. Civil Engineering background will also help succeed in this role.
- Standards and regulations: Deep understanding of current standards as follows-

AS NZS 2566.2 Buried Flexible Pipelines WSA 01-2004 Polyethylene Pipeline Code 2007

WSA 02-2014 Gravity Sewerage Code SEQ 2021

WSA 03-2011-3.2 Water Supply Code SEQ 2024 Version 1.4

WSA 04-2005 Sewerage Pumping Station Code 2006

WSA 06-2008 Vacuum Sewerage Code Version 1.3

And all other Council Standards and Legislation

- Compliance literacy: Experience working within or maintaining frameworks for ISO 9001:2015 and NATA accredited systems.
