The Opportunity

Ready to step into a leadership role where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to run day-to-day operations at a busy waste transfer station based in West Melbourne.

This is your opportunity to join an essential services industry, lead from the front, and play a key role in improving recycling, sustainability, and operational performance.

You will take ownership of daily site operations, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Additionally, You Will

- Lead and supervise operators. plant drivers and site staff
- Oversee waste receival and processing
- Drive a robust safety culture through toolbox talks and visible leadership
- Ensure compliance with EPA, safety and site licence requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and keep operations moving

About You We are looking for a practical, people focused leader who thrives in fast paced environments.

You Will Have

- Experience supervising teams in waste, recycling, logistics, transport, or heavy industry




- Strong leadership skills – you know how to motivate and hold teams accountable
- Solid understanding of safety and environmental compliance
- Ability to think on your feet and solve operational challenges
- Comfortable working around mobile plant and busy industrial sites
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Current Mobile plant tickets (loader/excavator) desirable not essential
- Microsoft suite experience essential
