The Opportunity:

Take on rewarding Paediatrics locum opportunities across Hunter New England LHD. With shifts available for both Registrars and Consultants, this is a fantastic chance to work in busy regional hospitals, gain diverse paediatric exposure, and enjoy excellent remuneration with full support provided.

Consultants will provide leadership, neonatal cover (including caesarean sections), and JMO supervision, while Registrars will gain strong training exposure in inpatient and acute paediatric care.

Clinical Environment:

- Diverse case mix - inpatient, neonatal, outpatient clinics, and paediatric ED
- Hands-on exposure - registrars strengthen procedural and acute skills; consultants lead, supervise and manage complex cases
- Supportive teams - work with experienced consultants, registrars, nurses, and allied health
- Lifestyle locum - adaptable shifts across regional NSW with accommodation and travel covered
- Teaching hospital environment - structured supervision and opportunities to mentor junior staff

Eligibility Criteria:

- AHPRA General Registration (Registrar) or Specialist Registration (Consultant)




- PGY4+ for Registrars with prior paediatrics experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding
