About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife for remote locum placements based from Darwin, NT. In this rewarding role you will support healthier futures for children and families in remote Aboriginal communities, delivering child and family health services including growth and development assessments, immunisations, maternal support and early intervention.

- Deliver child and family health services including growth and development assessments
- Administer immunisations in line with the national schedule
- Provide parenting support, education and early intervention
- Support maternal and child health across remote community settings
- Work collaboratively with Aboriginal Medical Services and primary healthcare teams
- Engage respectfully with Aboriginal communities and cultural protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Benefits:

- $85 - $95 per hour + superannuation

About You:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife
- Child and Family Health or Child Health qualification (essential)
- Immunisation certificate (essential)
- Aboriginal Medical Service and primary healthcare experience (preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously in remote settings
- Eligible to work in Australia
