Optio6 Talent Partners is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded national accounting and advisory firm to recruit a Senior Accountant for its Business Advisory team.

The opportunity Working closely with experienced Managers and Partners, you will provide accounting, taxation and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and associated entities
- Preparing income tax returns, BAS and IAS returns
- Supporting clients with tax planning and compliance matters
- Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Building trusted relationships and developing an understanding of each client’s business
- Identifying issues and supporting practical, commercially considered solutions
- Managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

About you You will bring:

- A minimum of three years’ accounting experience within a qualified services or public practice firm
- A degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
- Completion of the CA program or an equivalent professional qualification
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills




- A confident, engaging and skilled communication style
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A collaborative, team-focused attitude
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online or Reckon
- Experience with Xero Financials and Tax software will be highly regarded but is not essential
