The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of purchasing activities, inventory control, supplier performance, and stock distribution across multiple departments. You will lead a dedicated stores team, negotiate supplier agreements, manage budgets and purchasing expenditure, and ensure stock accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys balancing strategic decision-making with hands-on operational leadership.





Skills & Attributes

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or stores management
- Previous leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills
- Sound understanding of inventory systems, stock control, auditing, and reporting processes
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and forecasting
