Business Analyst | Life Insurance |12 Month Contract+ | Sydney

We're partnering with a leading life insurer on a critical phase of their transformation programme. They need a Business Analyst who knows the domain and can hit the ground running.

This isn't a documentation role. You'll sit close to the business, unpick the detail, and turn it into something delivery can actually build.

What you'll be doing

- Gathering and documenting requirements across policy administration, claims or underwriting workstreams
- Running workshops with business SMEs, product and operations
- Mapping current state and target state processes
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and working with the squad to land them
- Supporting UAT and business readiness through to go live

What we're looking for

- 4 to 7 years as a BA,



with recent life insurance or wider insurance experience
- Solid understanding of policy admin, claims or underwriting processes
- You're already using AI in your BA work. Faster drafting, cleaner process mapping, better first cut requirements. We want people who've built it into how they work
- Comfortable in Agile delivery. Jira and Confluence day to day
- Robust stakeholder skills. You can hold a room and chase a decision
- Available at short notice or on four weeks or less

- 12 months initial, strong likelihood of extension
- Sydney CBD, hybrid, two to three days in office
- Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
