About the Role
Micron Agritech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team,
supporting our growing customer base across Australia and New Zealand. As a QA
Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy for our diagnostic tools and testing processes.
Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute directly to our mission of revolutionising the animal health sector in this region. This role is based in Australia, with occasional travel expected to support quality investigations and testing activity across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse results generated by our diagnostic platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency for customers across Australia and Recent Zealand
- Conduct quality control tests to verify the performance and reliability of our diagnostic tools
- Collaborate closely with the research and development team to identify and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies
- Maintain detailed records of quality control tests and results
- Participate in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance
- Contribute towards data annotation for the training of advanced AI models Skills and Experience Required
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required
- Full driving licence
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in testing or diagnostics
- Experience in parasitology or a related field
- Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand veterinary or agricultural sector
