About the role The McKenzie Clinic is seeking an ALA Qualified Lymphoedema Physiotherapist position in our beautiful Noosaville clinic, situated in the Noosa Health Precinct. This role provides the opportunity to build to Full Time employment if desired. Our clinic has a robust focus on Cancer Rehabilitation, in particular recovery from Breast Cancer.
Key responsibilities
- Perform individual patient assessments, treatments, and exercise program prescription, including patients diagnosed with cancer, patients with vascular conditions, other lymphatic conditions and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Provide appropriate hands-on treatment and prescription of exercise programs where required. The position would include a mixed cohort, although mostly focusing on cancer patients, lymphoedema with some musculoskeletal patients.
- Prescription, measuring and ordering of compression garments for patients with lymphoedema.
- Work independently whilst still being part of a team, excellent time management and communication skills.
Qualifications Required:
- Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration
- ALA Accredited Lymphoedema Therapist
- Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
