The Opportunity The Manager, Reward is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Reward, Performance & Recognition.

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise across reward, remuneration, incentives, and remuneration governance within a complex and highly regulated financial services environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with People & Culture, Finance, Risk, Legal, and senior business leaders to deliver remuneration reviews, market benchmarking, incentive programs, governance activities, reward-related projects, and employee benefits initiatives.

While the Head of Reward leads engagement with Executives, Directors, and Board Committees, this role will be responsible for much of the supporting analysis, recommendations, and preparation of Executive and Board materials. As such, the role requires a strong balance of technical reward expertise, commercial acumen, governance capability, and exceptional written communication skills.

How will you make an impact?

- Lead and support annual remuneration review processes, including salary, short-term incentive (STI), and long-term incentive (LTI) outcomes.
- Provide expert remuneration and reward advice to leaders and key business stakeholders.
- Conduct remuneration benchmarking,



market analysis, and reward modelling to support informed decision-making.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of reward frameworks, policies, and practices.
- Prepare high-quality Board, Remuneration Committee, and Executive papers, presentations, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain remuneration policies, governance documentation, and supporting materials.
- Support executive remuneration arrangements, incentive plans, and deferred remuneration programs.
- Maintain strong remuneration governance and regulatory compliance, including activities relating to CPS 511.
- Partner with Finance, Risk, Legal, and external advisers on reward-related matters.
- Contribute to broader reward, transformation, and integration initiatives as required.

- Reward frameworks are well understood, effectively governed, and consistently applied across the organisation.
- Board and Executive papers are concise, insightful, and focused on supporting effective decision-making.
- Reward recommendations are commercially sound, evidence-based, and aligned with business objectives.
- Regulatory and governance obligations are proactively managed and consistently met.
- Senior stakeholders view you as a trusted and credible adviser on reward and remuneration matters.

About You We are seeking an experienced reward professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial judgement and governance capability.

You will be comfortable independently managing significant reward programs, developing recommendations, and producing Board-quality materials, while partnering closely with the Head of Reward to support Executive, Committee, and Board decision-making.

You'll bring

- 7-10+ years' experience in reward, remuneration, executive compensation, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading remuneration review processes.
- Experience supporting executive remuneration programs, including STI and LTI frameworks.
- Strong remuneration modelling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, including partnering with senior leaders and executives.
- Experience operating within a highly regulated and governance-focused environment.
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Experience in reward strategy development and/or reward framework design.

Nice to have

- Strong financial services industry experience.
- Experience preparing Board, Committee, and Executive papers.
- Experience supporting mergers, integrations, or organisational transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to APRA CPS 511 and remuneration governance requirements.
