This is a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate/Junior Accountant as roles don’t pop up very often in this team due to the minimal turnover. Which is down to the incredible focus they place on their people with monthly celebrations, games nights, Christmas and EOFY party, golf days, run clubs and so much more! They have really put the time in to make sure there is something for everyone.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of annual compliance (financial statements and tax returns) along with supporting work papers
- Completing GST and tax reconciliations
- Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns
- Collaborating closely with the team to deliver exceptional service
- Learning the ropes of high level advisory work including VCFO clients
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will:
- Have a minimum of 6 months – 2 years’ experience in a reputable accounting firm
- Hold a relevant degree or be working towards completion
- Be currently studying towards your CA or CPA (or willing to commence)
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be eager to learn, grow and progress your career
