Physiotherapists – Full-Time and Part-Time

About the role

Carino Care is seeking two compassionate and experienced Physiotherapists, one full-time and one part-time, to provide services across our four residential aged care homes located in Oatley, Rockdale, Russell Lea and Sylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference to the mobility, independence, comfort and quality of life of older people.

Key responsibilities

- Complete comprehensive physiotherapy, mobility and functional assessments.
- Develop and review individualised treatment, rehabilitation and exercise programs.
- Deliver falls-prevention, mobility, balance, strength and pain-management interventions.
- Assess residents following falls, changes in mobility or deterioration in function.
- Recommend appropriate mobility aids, transfer equipment and seating.
- Provide manual-handling and safe-transfer advice to care and nursing staff.
- Contribute to care planning,



clinical reviews and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support residents to achieve their individual mobility and quality-of-life goals.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, nursing staff, care workers, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.

About you

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Strong communication, assessment and clinical documentation skills.
- A person-centred and respectful approach to supporting older people.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively across a multidisciplinary setting.
- Previous residential aged care experience is desirable but not essential.
