Role Description We offer two full-time, on-site Postdoctoral Researcher positions in protein engineering and mitochondrial biology based in Perth, WA. The roles involve designing and executing experiments to engineer proteins relevant to mitochondrial function, including cloning, expression, purification, and characterization of engineered constructs as well as bioinformatics analyses. The researchers will investigate mitochondrial pathways and dynamics, perform functional assays, and analyze data to uncover mechanisms and identify potential applications of the findings.

Day-to-day activities include planning and conducting laboratory work, maintaining accurate records, interpreting results, preparing manuscripts and presentations, and contributing to grant applications. The positions also entail collaborating with other researchers and potentially mentoring junior team members or students,



while adhering to laboratory safety and good research practices.

Qualifications
