About Henty Gold Mine

Henty Gold Mine is well-established with high-quality infrastructure, both above and below ground. It is an established underground gold operation supported by a 199koz Ore Reserve and a conventional 300–400ktpa CIL processing plant, targeting ~30,000oz annual production. Ongoing underground development and exploration drilling programs are focused on resource growth, discovery and extending mine life.

About the role





Henty Gold Mine is seeking an experienced Processing Plant Manager as the leader for the Processing Business Unit

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this senior leadership role is responsible for processing operations, metallurgy, surface fixed plant maintenance, tailings management and surface infrastructure. You will provide visible operational leadership, drive business performance and build a culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement while delivering production and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

· Lead and promote a strong safety culture across all processing and fixed plant

· Deliver processing production, plant reliability and tailings management safely and efficiently

· Develop production strategies, operating plans, budgets and shutdown schedules

· Optimise production output, metallurgical recovery, plant availability and operating costs

· Coordinate surface fixed plant maintenance, reliability and shutdown planning to maximise plant performance.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational performance and business value

· Manage contractors, resources and operational priorities to achieve business objectives

· Coach, mentor and develop leaders while building a high-performing and accountable team culture

· Ensure compliance with statutory,



environmental and company requirements while effectively managing operational risk

About you

· Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Process/Chemical Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent operational capability)

· Significant leadership experience within mineral processing operations

· Strong understanding of metallurgical performance, process control and plant optimisation

· Experience integrating production, maintenance, reliability and shutdown planning

· Proven ability to improve production, recovery, plant availability and cost performance

· Strong commercial focus with experience managing operational budgets and business performance

· Authentic leadership style with excellent communication, coaching and people management skills

· Current Australian Driver's Licence

· Postgraduate leadership or management qualifications are desirable
