Role Description The Product Project Manager is a full time, hybrid role based on either the west ir east ciast if Australua with flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of product-focused engineering projects, from planning and scheduling through execution and delivery. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with internal teams and external partners, expediting materials and components, managing inspections, and ensuring logistics are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Manager will track progress against milestones, manage risks, maintain project documentation, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.



This position also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities, refining processes, and supporting product development initiatives aligned with QEE’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional engineering or industrial projects.
- Skills in expediting and expeditor activities, ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and follow-up of materials and equipment.
- Inspection and quality assurance skills, including experience with technical inspections, compliance checks, and documentation of findings.
- Logistics management capabilities, covering coordination of transport, warehousing, and delivery aligned with project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, supply chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency with project management tools and standard office software; familiarity with data-driven decision making and reporting.
- Commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and inclusive, collaborative teamwork in a diverse workplace.
