Role Description The Production Engineer role at EnyGy is a full-time, in office position based in Carrum Downs, VIC. The person in this role will oversee daily production activities for graphene-based electrode films and ultracapacitor components, ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards.
Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling production runs, optimizing manufacturing workflows, monitoring equipment performance, and troubleshooting process issues.
The Production
Engineer will implement and maintain quality control procedures,
collaborate with R&D; and operations teams to scale new products, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role also involves documenting production data, preparing reports, and communicating progress and issues to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Production Engineering and Production Planning skills for managing manufacturing processes and optimizing workflows.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting production data, identifying issues, and driving process improvements.
- Experience with Quality Control practices to ensure product consistency, reliability, and adherence to standards.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting procedures, and reporting findings.
- Familiarity with energy storage or advanced materials manufacturing (e.g., batteries, ultracapacitors, graphene) is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely in a laboratory and factory setting, with attention to equipment handling and compliance with safety procedures.
- Proficiency in basic production and quality software tools (such as spreadsheets, data logging systems, or ERP/MES platforms) is beneficial.
