At Hector’s, what happens behind the scenes matters just as much as what’s on the pass. We’re growing our Central Production Kitchen and are looking for a superstar supervisor to join the team on a full-time basis.

Location: Melbourne (Richmond initially, transitioning to a new production facility in Melbourne’s South East)

Shift Times: Day time — no late nights!

Weekend Work: Maximum one weekend day

Schedule: Consistent daytime production shifts The Role:

The Production Kitchen Supervisor is a key kitchen leadership role supporting the Production Manager in running an efficient production kitchen and maintaining high standards across daily production.

You will:

- Support oversight of daily prep and assembly production
- Lead shifts and set clear performance expectations based on daily production schedules
- Drive production targets, accuracy and consistency
- Monitor workflow, yield, waste and efficiency
- Support labour planning and roster structure
- Uphold food safety, QA and cleanliness standards
- Strengthen systems and structure across the kitchen

This role is about ownership,



clarity and lifting standards across the entire operation.

You’ll likely have:

- 3–5+ years in a high-volume kitchen or production environment
- Experience in a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or similar senior kitchen role
- Solid organisational skills and operational awareness
- Confidence managing performance and holding standards
- The ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure
