- Professional Standards Consultant
- Full-time fixed term until end of June 2027
- Hybrid Working (Minimum 2 days per week in the office)
About The Job Reporting to the Head of Professional Standards, you will support a regulatory compliance project focused on policy, process and control improvements. The role will contribute to regulatory interpretation, member and entity data analysis, eligibility assessment, reporting, documentation and project delivery activities. Working closely with the Project Manager and key internal stakeholders, you will help develop guidance materials, business rules, member communications and stakeholder engagement plans. You will have strong analytical, documentation and relationship-building skills, with experience in membership models, regulatory analysis, risk frameworks and compliance obligations within professional or legal services environments.
Key Requisites
- Proven understanding of risk management frameworks
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, reporting and document management procedures
- Strong understanding, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of industry standards, regulations and relevant legislation pertaining to public accounting services
- Ability to work within the complexities of procedures and regulations
- Demonstrated experience working with memberships models, regulatory analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Legal or professional services experience
About You You will bring demonstrated experience in membership models, regulatory analysis and stakeholder engagement, ideally within professional or legal services. You will have a sound understanding of risk management frameworks, monitoring,
reporting and document management procedures, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them practically. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prepare clear documentation, guidance materials and reports. You will be confident engaging with internal and external stakeholders, exercising professional judgement, working with moderate autonomy and supporting project delivery in a compliance-focused environment.
