The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager on a 6-month contract, specific to an exciting new commercial fit-out project initially, but may extend to a permanent role if suitable. This initial 6-month contract role entails:
- Based on site in the Melbourne CBD for a repeat Client
- Overseeing and leading all aspects of the project with support from the director
- Driving the overall programme within a tight, compressed timeframe
- Driving design resolution to meet the programme
- Code compliance
- Directing and allocating of project resources and supervision
- Overseeing quality outcomes of the final product
- Overseeing WHS
- There will be less of a requirement of contract administration oversight for this role on this project
- Defect management
The Candidate
Consider applying if you fit the following criteria:
- Have a relevant qualification - tertiary and trade qualifications considered
- Have experience using typical industry software e.g. Procore, Breadcrumb or Hammertech, Microsoft suite, MS Project for programming
- Have experience working in premium grade CBD office buildings
- Can clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager on fast-paced projects valued over at least $5M
- Ability to handle the pressure of a fast paced project and workplace
- Strong in programming
- Are a systematic operator, while also being dynamic and open to alternative methods
- Have a positive attitude
- Keen to work in a growing business with opportunity for future work
