Property Management with a resident experience twist

We are working with a leading residential operator to appoint a Property Manager / Resident Experience skilled for a high-quality, established apartment community in Sydney.

As a smaller, stabilised residential asset, this is a broad and hands-on position. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day property management requirements of the community while also helping create a positive, welcoming and well-managed experience for its residents.

This isn’t a traditional portfolio role involving travel between properties. You’ll be based within one community, allowing you to build genuine relationships with residents and take ownership of the overall resident journey—from leasing and move-ins through to renewals, maintenance coordination and general tenancy matters.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day-to-day management of the residential community
- Managing leasing enquiries, applications and apartment inspections
- Preparing tenancy documentation and coordinating move-ins and move-outs
- Responding to resident enquiries and resolving tenancy-related matters
- Coordinating maintenance requests and following through with residents and contractors
- Completing routine inspections and maintaining accurate property records
- Monitoring arrears and supporting lease renewals
- Ensuring documentation and processes remain compliant with NSW residential tenancy legislation
- Developing positive, professional relationships with residents




- Supporting resident communications and community engagement initiatives
- Helping ensure the building remains welcoming, well presented and professionally managed

ABOUT YOU This position would suit an experienced Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager who enjoys the resident-facing side of the role and would like to move away from managing a traditional, geographically spread portfolio.

You will ideally bring

- Previous experience in residential property management, leasing or Build to Rent
- A good understanding of residential tenancy processes and legislation
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage maintenance, leasing and resident matters from start to finish
- A calm and confident approach when resolving issues
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in delivering a positive resident experience
- A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence is essential for this role.
