Join an established clinic with strong demand for child and adolescent services
Involve Health Hub is looking for a Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who enjoys working with children and/or teenagers.
We currently have more enquiries from families than our existing practitioners can accommodate. There is an established need for another practitioner who can offer at least one regular half-day, one full day or several days per week.
At Involve, you can create a private practice that fits your life. You retain the autonomy to set your fees, shape your caseload and choose your schedule, while we provide the referrals, administration, billing, marketing and clinic support.
You may be an early-career practitioner looking for a supported entry into private practice or an experienced clinician wanting greater flexibility. You do not need to work with every age group or presentation; we match referrals with your experience, interests and preferred scope of practice.
Why practitioners choose Involve
Strong demand with genuinely flexible hours
We already have children and teenagers seeking appointments. The flexibility in this role is about allowing you to choose how much you work, not an indication that referrals are limited.
- Work one half-day per week, full day or several days if preferred
- Set your own session fees
- Choose your preferred days and hours
- Tailor your appointment times, breaks and number of sessions
- Choose the ages and presentations you work with
- Offer in-person appointments or a mix of in-person and telehealth
- Take leave when you choose
This opportunity may suit someone adding private practice work alongside another role, as well as someone seeking one or more established clinic days. Work with children and teenagers in your areas of interest
We have ongoing demand for practitioners who work with children, teenagers and their families.
Depending on your skills and interests, referrals may include:
- Anxiety and mood-related concerns
- Autism and ADHD
- Emotional regulation
- School avoidance and school-related difficulties
- Learning and executive functioning concerns
- Self-esteem and identity
- Social and relationship difficulties
- Adjustment to change or significant life events
- Behavioural and developmental concerns
- Parenting support and family consultation
You can nominate the client ages, presentations and levels of complexity that are appropriate for you. You will not be expected to accept referrals outside your competency or preferred scope of practice. Strong support without losing autonomy
Enjoy the benefits of private practice without having to manage every part of it yourself.
We provide
- Full reception, administration and billing support
- Marketing support
- Established referral pathways
- Support with Medicare, WorkCover and insurance, Victim Assist Queensland, DVA, NDIS and private billing
- Paperless systems and efficient practice processes
- Modern consulting rooms and child-friendly therapy resources
- Regular peer supervision
- Access to case consultation with our Directors
- Quarterly check-ins focused on your goals, wellbeing and professional development
This allows you to spend more time on clinical work and less time managing the logistics of running a practice alone. A sustainable way to work in private practice
We believe private practice should be both professionally rewarding and sustainable.
At Involve, practitioners are supported to develop a caseload and way of working that is manageable, well-boundaried and realistic over time. There is no expectation to maintain a high-volume caseload or work more hours than suit you.
You can offer a regular half-day, a full day or work across several days. We will support you to establish an arrangement that reflects your availability and preferred workload.
