Company Description The Anna Centre, established in 1990, has grown from a sole practitioner into one of Victoria’s largest psychology practices. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Psychologist role based in Bendigo, VIC. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. Day-to-day tasks include conducting clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical records, and preparing reports as required.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues, communicating with referrers and external stakeholders, and participating in case discussions and supervision.



The Psychologist will also contribute to service improvement, uphold ethical and professional standards, and support a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach to care.

Qualifications

- Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), with endorsement or experience in clinical, counseling, or related fields.
- Demonstrated skills in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, ACT, interpersonal therapies) across diverse client groups.
- Strong therapeutic engagement skills, including rapport-building, trauma-informed practice, and culturally responsive care.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities for clinical documentation, reports, and liaison with clients, families, and external agencies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing caseloads and competing priorities in a busy practice setting.
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and use of supervision and reflective practice.
- Experience working with government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, or corporate clients is advantageous.
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychology is highly regarded; eligibility for Medicare provider status is an advantage.
