Unite Resourcing is looking for hands-on Recruitment Consultants to join our Perth team.

We are an established Australian recruitment and labour-hire business operating across mining, construction, oil and gas, energy and infrastructure. We already have the clients, active vacancies and candidate database. What we need are good recruiters who can take ownership of the work, deliver consistently and build strong relationships from it.

This is not a desk where you will be expected to start from zero. You will have genuine opportunities to work on from day one, backed by an experienced mobilisation and compliance team. At the same time, we want recruiters who are commercially aware and understand that the best way to grow a desk is through strong delivery, regular communication and doing what you say you will do.

The role You will manage a full recruitment desk and take responsibility for the process from the initial client requirement through to placement and mobilisation.

Your responsibilities will include

- Working directly with clients to understand their current and upcoming workforce requirements
- Advertising roles and proactively sourcing candidates through our database, job boards, referrals and your own networks
- Screening and interviewing candidates for skills, experience, availability and suitability
- Managing offers, references, onboarding and mobilisation alongside our internal support team
- Maintaining active talent pools across key trades, professional disciplines and project requirements
- Keeping clients and candidates informed throughout the process
- Following up placements and resolving issues quickly when they arise
- Developing further opportunities within existing accounts and building new client relationships
- Maintaining accurate records and clear visibility across your vacancies, candidates and recruitment activity





About you We are open to speaking with Recruitment Consultants and Senior Recruitment Consultants at different stages of their careers. You may already have experience in mining, resources, construction, trades, engineering or another fast-moving labour-hire environment. More importantly, you will be someone who:
- Takes genuine ownership of their desk and follows through
- Is comfortable managing multiple vacancies and changing priorities
- Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and candidates
- Understands the urgency and attention to detail required in labour hire
- Is proactive on the phone and does not wait for candidates or opportunities to come to them
- Builds trust through reliable service rather than overpromising
- Has the commercial awareness to recognise and develop opportunities
- Can work independently while contributing to the wider team

Previous agency recruitment or labour-hire experience will be highly regarded. Sector experience is valuable, but we are equally interested in robust recruiters from related markets who know how to manage a busy desk properly.
