HRM is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established not-for-profit provider of vocational education, training and community programs, with training centres and hubs based across the Sunshine Coast region including Maroochydore, Caloundra and Nambour.

We're seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead the operational performance and strategic growth of the organisation's programs and services across the region. This is a rare chance for a commercially minded, community focused leader to make a lasting impact.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Manager will lead a team of Business Managers and Training Managers across multiple sites and hubs, driving the achievement of contract targets, budgets and quality outcomes. You'll balance strategic business planning with hands on coaching and mentoring, while building strong relationships with government, industry and community stakeholders to grow the organisation's presence across the Sunshine Coast.

This is a full time, permanent position based on site, with regular travel required across the region to support teams and programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Business Managers and Training Managers to design and deliver growth and performance strategies for contracts and programs
- Plan, develop and implement projects and programs in line with organisational targets, timelines and budgets
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, developing business cases for approval
- Coach and support managers to oversee site-based programs and daily operations across the region




- Lead strategic and business planning initiatives in collaboration with the CEO and Executive team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, non-government organisations and community stakeholders
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of contracts, deeds, legislation and compliance obligations relevant to the region

About You

- Proven high level experience in strategic business planning, budgeting and resource management within a regulated or contract based environment
- Demonstrated project management skills, with strong time management, administrative and organisational ability
- A track record of strategic thinking, problem solving and leading successful change
- A flexible, adaptive leadership style with strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
- Experience leading and developing teams across multiple sites or locations
- Resilience, accountability and a collaborative approach to achieving results
