As a Night Duty Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with care staff and/or allied health professionals to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care throughout the night.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practice standards.
- Undertake clinical assessments and monitor resident health and wellbeing.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Respond to clinical incidents and emergencies as required.
- Supervise and support care staff during night shifts.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
- Liaise with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
About you
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in aged care, acute care, or community nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of aged care standards and clinical governance.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team during night shifts.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
