The Adviser, Health and Safety is an integral role to ensuring a secure and compliant work environment by delivering practical WHS guidance and fostering a culture of safety in a challenging operational environment.
In this role you will assist the management team within the centre to fulfil their legislation obligations relating to workplace health and safety as well as promote the Department's strategic goals associated with promoting services and workplace safety matters.
The role is functionally accountable to the Senior Adviser Health & Safety but is located at Lockyer Valley and Southern Queensland Correctional Centres.
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
