2XM Recruit is partnering with a well-established WA fabrication and industrial services company (supporting mining and heavy industry across the state) to recruit an Entry-Level HSE Assistant for their afternoon shift operations.

- Afternoon Shift: 2PM – 10PM (Monday to Friday)

- You’ll be joining a WA industrial contractor with a strong reputation in fabrication, shutdown and fixed plant services — a practical, boots-on-the-ground environment where safety matters.

The Role – What You’ll Actually Be Doing
This role is about being present in the workshop — not hiding in an office.




You’ll act as the “eyes and ears” of safety on afternoon shift across a team of around 35–40 workshop personnel.
You’ll be:

- Doing breathalyser testing
- Checking PPE compliance
- Walking the floor and spotting hazards
- Observing forklift and workshop safety
- Helping deliver site inductions
- Sitting in on toolbox talks
- Supporting refresher training
- Assisting with safety paperwork and procedures
