We are currently seeking an Safety Advisor to join a project team on a short-term contract basis.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll be out on site working directly with supervisors, crews, and subcontractors to drive a positive safety culture. If you're looking for a role behind a desk completing paperwork all day, this isn't it.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular safety interactions and field observations
- Engaging with subcontractors and work crews on site
- Monitoring and reporting against project safety KPIs
- Supporting supervisors with safe work practices
- Completing inspections, audits, and hazard identification activities
- Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Promoting proactive safety leadership across the project
About You
- Previous experience in a Safety Advisor role within construction, infrastructure, renewables, or resources
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build rapport with subcontractors and site teams
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Current Driver's Licence
