Safety Coordinator – Mine Site Based
Location: Mt Carlton Mine
Roster: 8/6, dayshift only

What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and support safety and health activities across mill processing and surface operations
- Facilitate risk assessments and assist with the identification and management of workplace hazards
- Develop, implement and maintain Safety and Health Management Systems
- Deliver and facilitate training across site, ensuring employees meet required competency and compliance standards
- Support ongoing safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across the operation
- Maintain accurate safety and training documentation and records
- Utilise systems including SharePoint and SkyTrust to manage safety and compliance information
What you will need: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within metalliferous mining (advantageous)
- Previous experience working across mill processing and surface operations
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience facilitating risk assessments
- Experience developing and maintaining Safety and Health Management Systems
- Strong computer literacy,
with experience using SharePoint and SkyTrust highly regarded
- Robust communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
- Ability to successfully undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
