We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Estimator to join our Coopers Plains team. About the role Reporting to the Sales Estimator Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by preparing accurate quotations, processing orders, and supporting customers throughout the manufacturing process.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing quotations using industry-standard CAD software
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Providing order updates and responding to customer enquiries
- Obtaining supplier pricing and sourcing materials
- Assisting customers with technical and general enquiries
- Supporting customers through every stage of the manufacturing process
- Working closely with the external sales and customer service teams
About you To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Previous internal sales, estimating or customer service experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- A collaborative approach and positive attitude
Highly regarded but not essential
- Experience using CAD software
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering
- Knowledge of laser cutting and fabrication processes
- Understanding of quality management systems
