As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to drive growth across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania , with a strong focus on our electrical portfolio.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with 1–3 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their skills within an established Australian industry leader.

Your primary focus will be promoting our market-leading range of power and technology solutions, developing sales and new business opportunities whilst building strong, long-term customer relationships across VIC, SA & TAS. Based in South Yarra and reporting to the Sales Manager, VIC, SA & TAS.

You'll work closely with electrical contractors, electrical engineers, consultants, distributors and other project stakeholders to identify opportunities, influence specifications and convert projects into sales.

While experience within the electrical industry would be highly regarded, it's not essential . We're equally interested in someone with a strong sales foundation, a willingness to learn and the drive to develop their knowledge of our products, customers and industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sales and new business opportunities throughout VIC, SA & TAS
- Build and strengthen relationships with electrical contractors, electrical engineers, consultants, distributors and other key customers
- Identify project opportunities during the design and construction phases




- Promote our products and increase specification opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through regular customer engagement
- Achieve territory sales and growth targets
- Represent CMS Electracom at industry events, networking opportunities, trade shows and exhibitions

About You To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

- 1–3 years of B2B sales or business development experience
- A genuine interest in sales and developing new business and building strong customer relationships
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, self-motivated and resilient approach to sales
- The confidence to engage with customers, ask questions and identify opportunities
- A willingness to learn our products and develop your knowledge of the electrical and commercial construction industries
- Versatile to travel to VIC, SA & TAS (for 2–3 days) every 4–6 weeks

Highly regarded, but not essential:

- Experience within the electrical, construction, building products or related industries
- Experience selling into commercial construction projects
- Exposure to project-based or specification sales
