Truck Driver - Pet Aftercare

At Patch & Purr, part of the InvoCare Group, we help families honour a lifetime of unconditional love. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and safety-focused Truck Drivers to join our Operations Team, supporting our Morisset and South Windsor locations.

This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in delivering a meaningful service to families and veterinary partners during a sensitive time.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, respectful, and efficient transportation of pets between Patch & Purr locations and service partners.

We currently have two full-time opportunities available, one based in Morisset and one in South Windsor.

Working Hours

- Full time permanent positions
- Monday to Friday roster, with occasional weekend work as required
- Typical shift hours: 10:00 PM - 6:06 AM
- Start and finish times may vary based on operational requirements
- Flexibility to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts when required

Key Responsibilities

- Safely collect and transport pets between Patch & Purr locations
- Scan, track, and accurately record all items before loading and unloading
- Ensure pets and related items are handled, stored, and transported in accordance with company standards
- Verify items are correctly tagged, weighed, secured, and tracked through internal systems
- Complete transport documentation accurately and in a timely manner




- Comply with all Australian Road Rules and relevant transport regulations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, presentation, and roadworthiness
- Report vehicle servicing, maintenance, repair, or damage requirements promptly
- Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures, identifying and reporting hazards as required

About You

You are a dependable and professional driver who takes pride in providing exceptional service and treating every task with care and respect.

To be successful, you will have:

- A valid MR Driver Licence and a safe driving record, or the willingness to obtain an MR licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Comfort working within the pet aftercare industry
