About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant & Legal Operations Coordinator to provide high-level executive support to the Group General Counsel and senior leadership team within a complex corporate environment.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised and commercially minded professional who can combine exceptional executive support capability with strong coordination and operational skills across Legal and Compliance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring leadership priorities, governance activities, legal operations and administrative processes are effectively coordinated and delivered.
About the Role
Working closely with the Group General Counsel and senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive executive support, including complex diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and expenses
- Preparing and coordinating meeting papers, presentations, briefing materials and follow-up actions
- Managing competing priorities and ensuring matters are appropriately prioritised according to urgency and business requirements
- Acting as a trusted and professional point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting Board, Committee and executive governance activities, including meeting preparation, document coordination, approvals and action tracking
- Maintaining accurate governance records, registers, calendars, repositories and key documentation
- Coordinating the administration of external legal providers, including engagement records, invoices, purchase orders and legal spend tracking
- Supporting matter, contract and records administration, including key dates, workflow updates, document retention and retrieval
- Coordinating reporting, team meetings, leadership forums,
onboarding and communications across the Legal and Compliance function
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Working collaboratively with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, IT, Procurement and other senior stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Executive Assistant or senior administration professional who is confident operating at a senior level and managing sensitive and complex matters.
You will bring:
- Significant experience supporting, C-suite executives, , Directors or senior leaders
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare qualified materials for senior audiences
- Advanced Microsoft 365 capability, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of follow-through
- Excellent judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential, privileged and commercially sensitive information
- A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Robust commercial awareness and the ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation
- Experience within Legal, Compliance, Risk, Governance, professional services or a large corporate environment will be highly regarded
- Experience working within a large,
matrixed or multinational organisation will be advantageous
