YOUR RECENT ROLE
In this highly valued newly created role as the firm’s KEY GO-TO succession lawyer, reporting to the Managing Partner & GM , you will love the autonomy+ variety +satisfaction of your 3 dimensional role:
- hands-on managing your own personal case load solving all types of interesting succession law issues/disputes across the full-spectrum (both advisory/transactions+ litigation) including:
-Estate/succession planning issues
-Testamentary trusts/asset protection
-Wills/powers of attorney
-Probate and administration of estates
-Contested wills/estates litigation (Family Provision Act claims).
- partaking in business development/marketing to further grow the practice; AND
- as the practice grows, taking on a leadership/mentoring/training role supportingsuccession lawyers/paralegals (and reducing your own file load).

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- are admitted as a lawyer in NSW+ have minimum 6 years post-admission experience (or more up to senior associate/special counsel) in wills/estates law;
- have broad-ranging experience across estate planning/wills+estate administration+ estate litigation with proven ability to manage your own practice without/with minimal supervision;
- are preferably (not essential) an ACCREDITED SPECIALIST in succession law and/or have attained/studying a Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Wills and Estates) or Master of Laws specializing in Wills/Estates.
- have strong time prioritization+ people/leadership/client management skills;
- are a self-starter, results-focused, proactive + have a strong commercial acumen+ entrepreneurial mind-set;
- enjoy building relationships/networking and have had some new client development/marketing experience (preferable);
- are ambitious and seeking a long-term ‘legal home’ where you can grow+ flourish.
