applying your technical expertise+ commercial acumen in advising/creating strategies to protect+ enforce the patent rights of your blue-chip local/international clients.
Key responsibilities include: drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the engineering and/or ICT fields, advising clients in relation to patent portfolio management, infringement and patentability issues & assisting in patent oppositions and/or patent litigation.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- have a minimum 24 months’ post-qualification experience (up to Senior Associate level) as a registered Australian/NZ patent attorney [or are an overseas qualified patent attorney currently nearing qualification in Australia/NZ];
- have a degree or higher qualifications [eg Masters/PHD] in mechanical engineering or similar;
- have strong analytical+ technical skills/knowledge;
- have some hands-on experience in prosecuting/drafting patents [desirable];
- have outstanding communication, time management and people interaction skills;
