YOUR CURRENT ROLE
Reporting to the CFO and the senior accountant in the winning Finance Team (of 5) in this hands-on role, you will be appreciate the top mentorship +love the challenge and variety:
- Preparing monthly profit & loss/balance sheets, year-end and statutory accounts;
- Processing payment of invoices;
- Reconciling bank accounts, credits and general ledger accounts;
- Administering legal trust accounts;
- Internal/external audits;
- Verifying employee expenses and processing payments;
- Answering any financial enquiries and general adhoc tasks.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- have a degree in accounting, commerce, business or similar and are currently studying OR intend to do further CA/CPA studies in the future;
- have minimum 12 months (or MORE) accounting experience in a law firm or an accounting CA or CPA firm;
- has knowledge/experience of trust accounting/trust accounts;
- strong accuracy+ attention to detail+ time prioritization skills (essential);
- are efficient and proven ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment.

To be eligible for this position you will have already held the same position with a complete understanding of the accounting process in a large organisation.
Whilst not essential, working in the legal industry would be advantageous in this role.
The role will involve but is not limited to assisting with the:
