An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join their winning COMMERCIAL LAW team (practising in: 1) commercial/business law; 2) commercial litigation; and 3) property/conveyancing).

YOUR NEW ROLE

As the valued RIGHT-HAND to 2 top commercial lawyers, you will love the variety+challenge+ satisfaction of assisting them with:

- Commercial transactions -eg buying/selling businesses, business structures, advising on directors/shareholders issues, corporate restructures, joint ventures, licensing/distribution, intellectual property,franchising, employment law, consumer/trade practices law and trusts; and
property law- conveyancing and leases;
- commercial litigation- eg debt recovery, insolvency/bankruptcy, general commercial contractual disputes & construction disputes.

Specifically, you will be interacting with clients, solicitors/barristers/other external stakeholders, undertaking legal research, preparing letters/court documents, preparing briefs to barristers,



diary management/making appointments, filing/administration.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- Are EITHER: 1) a law student NOT due to be admitted as a lawyer for at least 1-1.5 years OR 2) a 'career' paralegal;
- have MINIMUM 12 months experience in 2 or more of: 1) commercial law; 2) conveyancing; and/or 3) commercial litigation;
- are able to work full time or minimum 4 days/week (essential)
- have proven ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment;
- have a high work ethic+ are deadline oriented+ proactive;
- have outstanding communication, time prioritisation+ customer service skills;
- are hungry to kick-start your career long-term with a vibrant fast-growing successful law firm.
