Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to ensure the stability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP environments. The role will focus heavily on critical incident management, outage resolution, operational support, and process improvement across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality SAP Basis support and ensure stable operations of SAP systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents, outages, and complex technical issues.

- Identify, manage, track, and report incident and outage trends.

- Develop data-driven plans to improve customer support and system reliability.

- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce outage resolution times.

- Own, lead, and coordinate Critical Incident and Problem Management activities.

- Manage operational tasks, escalations, and service improvement initiatives.

- Work closely with ECS, Product Support, infrastructure, and other technical teams to execute projects and resolve issues.

- Create and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

- Proactively share technical expertise and help build team capability.

- Support management with strategic technical initiatives and operational improvements.

- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and adaptable environment.





Required Technical Skills

- 5+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience.

- Strong expertise in SAP Basis across ABAP, Java, and Non-NetWeaver applications.

- Extensive experience handling SAP incidents, outages, escalations, and critical production issues.

- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex SAP technical problems under pressure.

- Experience owning and coordinating operational activities, escalations, and process improvements.

- Working knowledge or ability to quickly become an SME in:

- SAP PowerDesigner

- SAP Cloud Connector

- Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in a hosting environment.

- Knowledge of hyperscaler cloud platforms, such as:

- AWS

- Microsoft Azure

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
