SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER

Position Type: Full time permanent

Hours / FTE: 76 hours per fortnight

Commencement date: Term 4, 2026

Term of Appointment: Permanent / ongoing

- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- have the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
- have a working knowledge of WH&S; and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

An opportunity to make a real difference in a Catholic school community We are seeking an experience and highly capable Business Manager to join our College Executive and play a key role in the effective leadership and operation of our school. This is a diverse and rewarding role for a commercially minded professional who enjoys working across people, finance, administration, property, risk and general business operations. Working closing with the Principal and Executive, you will provide strategic and operational oversight to ensure the College’s non-teaching functions are well managed, compliant and aligned with its Catholic mission and priorities.

Key responsibilities include

- Financial management, budgeting, reporting and fee administration.
- Oversight of property, assets, facilities, procurement and projects.
- Risk management, WHS, compliance and emergency management.
- Leadership and development of support staff.
- Oversight of IT, HR, communications and other business functions.
- Support the Principal with planning and decision-making with an improvement mindset.

About You You will be an experienced business or finance professional with strong commercial, analytical,



organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, working collaboratively and handling sensitive matters with discretion.

Qualifications in accounting, commerce, finance or business (or similar) are desirable.

Most importantly, you will share a commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education and be motivated by the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a close knit school community.
