Vincent Security is a well-established Brisbane manufacturer specialising in Crimsafe security screens, aluminium security doors and screens
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Leading Hand to join our manufacturing team at our Mansfield facility.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows manufacturing, can lead by example to help the team get the job done.
About the Role
Working closely with management, you will help coordinate the day-to-day operation of the factory, ensuring jobs are manufactured efficiently accurately and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading and supporting a team of manufacturing staff
- Working hands-on across the factory when required
- Reading job sheets, drawings and production requirements
- Ensuring products are manufactured correctly and to specification
- Checking quality and identifying issues before products leave the factory
- Assisting with training and mentoring team members
- Maintaining a protected, clean and organised workplace
- Communicating production issues and delays to management
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Has experience leading or supervising a small team
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Is organised and able to prioritise work
Experience with security screens, aluminium fabrication Crimsafe doors/windows or similar manufacturing will be highly regarded.
