We represent a global law firm with a strong presence in Australia. They have an opportunity for a senior level property lawyer to join their team in Sydney.

Real Estate The Real Estate team services some of Australia's largest and most recognised property developers, fund managers, trusts and landlords.

This high performing close knit Sydney team is made of up of two leading partners.

They provide advice on the full range of property matters including:

- Investment property acquisitions and disposals (commercial buildings, industrial estates and shopping centres).
- Property development projects.
- Joint ventures, and structured development agreements.
- Private equity and funding.
- Transaction structuring.
- Leasing.
- Hotels, resorts & tourism.
- Management right agreements.

Position Description This role will see you supporting both partners and work on a mixture of commercial/retail/industrial leasing, property development and large-scale acquisitions and disposals.

This role will afford a decent amount of autonomy and responsibility. This will be a client-facing role and will suit a flexible lawyer who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.





Requirements The successful candidate will have between 5+ years experience from a well-regarded property practice. Ideally, you will have exposure to complex major transactions and be comfortable negotiating commercial and retail leases.

In addition, you will:

- have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as people skills
- have solid attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
- be team-focused but also able to work independently
- be proactive and have a positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
