One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Azure Could Platform Infrastructure Engineer – EL1

1. Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 Months initially + 24 Months extension)
2. Work Location: Canberra (Hybrid - 03 Days office and 02 days home each week)
3. Eligibility: You must need to have NV1 Security Clearance or above.
4. Tentative Start Date: 19th Oct 2026
5. Working Hours: 08 hours a day/ 40 hours a week

Overview:

The roles will be responsible for the detailed solution design, development, and implementation of infrastructure in Azure in support of data and analytics workloads. These outcomes are delivered using an infrastructure as code deployment model using Terraform and the successful candidate with require experience with the following platforms and technology:

Azure Cloud

1. Azure hosted Data and Analytics Platforms such as:
2. Azure Databricks
3. Azure Data Factory
4. Azure Web Apps
5. Logic Apps
6. Azure security features such as:
7. Networking
8. Identity and Access Management
9. Policy

Infrastructure as Code:

1. Terraform based infrastructure management.
2. Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.

- Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements to design and implement Advanced Analytics and AI solutions.
- Experience in delivery and/or administration of Databricks,



Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.

Desirable:

1. Experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps).
2. Delivery and or administration experience with traditional data technology solutions.

Essential Criteria:

- Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service).
- Experience developing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach.
- Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as Identity and Access Management, Networking and Policy.
- Experience working in Data and Analytics focused projects (Data Engineering, Storage or Data Science).
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams using an Agile methodology.

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience work with Data Lake.
- Experience working with Geospatial platforms.
