Due to continued growth in the Pilbara region, we are seeking experienced Belt Splicers to join our FIFO Field Service team. This role is suited to skilled technicians with strong site experience who are looking for stable, long-term employment with a reputable business.

The Role

As a Belt Splicer, you will be responsible for:





- Installing, splicing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor belt systems

- Performing shutdown, breakdown, and preventative maintenance works

- Conducting inspections, reporting, and fault finding

- Working safely in accordance with company and client procedures

- Collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality outcomes on site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in conveyor belt splicing, installation, or maintenance

- FIFO Field Service experience, ideally on WA mine sites

- S26 Supervisor Qualification desirable

- Certificate III in Polymer Processing (Belt Splicing), or currently completing it

- Have Dogging / Rigging and Forklift tickets

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

The Essentials

- Current manual driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

- Flexibility to work FIFO Field Service and 2/2 rosters

- Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Dogging, or Rigging tickets highly regarded

- Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Key Responsibilities:

- Handling conveyor belt systems, including roller frames, skirting systems, and belt cleaner systems.
- Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment.
- Installing, replacing, and refurbishing rollers and frames.
- Working with steel cord, fabric, and woven belts.
- Applying knowledge of conveyor structures and skirting systems.
- Maintaining high safety standards, strong work ethics, and clear communication.

Essential Requirements:

- Valid Australian working rights.
- Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
- White Card.
- Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate or relevant experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Lab DAS.

Desirable Qualifications:

- MSIC (assistance available).
- High-Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging, Rigging) – incentives provided.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
