- Corresponding with overseas suppliers (predominantly China and Vietnam)
- Checking and maintaining the accuracy of supplier reports
- Coordinating orders with suppliers
- Ensuring orders are accurately allocated to shipping containers within specified timeframes
- Reviewing and checking shipping documents once goods have shipped, and reconciling these against purchase orders and invoices
- Coordinating container bookings with shippers/forwarders to ensure bookings align with our shipping schedules and container fit/utilisation requirements
- Attending to enquiries from showrooms and warehouses
- Assisting with purchasing team administration

Job Description

- Compiling purchase orders
- Corresponding with overseas suppliers (predominantly China and Vietnam)

Qualifications

- Valuable written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin is essential
- Experienced and knowledgeable in exporting/importing, including payment terms and import documentation/procedures
- Experience reviewing and reconciling shipping documents (e.g. bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices)
- Experience coordinating container bookings with overseas shippers/forwarders
- Excellent office administration experience
- A motivated self-starter with an eye for detail
- Competent using Microsoft Office software
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
