We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major Australian organisation working across a large scale digital platform. You will work within a product and technology setting delivering complex digital, data and platform initiatives.

This role will suit a Senior BA with retail or advertising experience who can operate autonomously, work through ambiguity and translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.

The role:

- Leading requirements gathering across complex digital, platform and data initiatives.
- Mapping current and future state processes, system workflows and integrations.
- Translating business requirements into clear user stories and technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Design and business stakeholders.
- Supporting third party platform integrations and mapping workflows across internal and external systems.
- Defining data requirements, reporting logic, metrics, transformation rules and data flows.
- Working with APIs, integrations and complex data sets.
- Managing multiple stakeholder groups and driving clarity where requirements or ownership are ambiguous.
- Identifying scope creep, dependencies and gaps early in the delivery process.
- Using AI tools to improve analysis, documentation and delivery efficiency.





What we're looking for:

- 7+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Recent experience within retail, eCommerce, advertising or a comparable large scale digital environment.
- Experience delivering complex technology change such as eCommerce replatforming, ERP, CRM, SaaS or platform migrations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, systems integration and data flows.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex business requirements into technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Experience working autonomously across multiple stakeholder groups in ambiguous environments.
- Strong data analysis experience including data mapping, reporting schemas, transformation logic, data lineage or BI/reporting platforms will be highly regarded.
- Experience within retail media, advertising technology, MarTech or digital advertising would be advantageous.

About you: You are curious, comfortable challenging assumptions and able to bring structure to complex problems. You know how to ask the right questions without getting lost in unnecessary detail and can surface ambiguity, risks and dependencies early. You will also be comfortable using modern AI tools as part of your day to day BA workflow.
