Your new role

As a Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing and embedding a Data Governance Framework across the organisation. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will drive governance initiatives, facilitate workshops and working groups, and support the adoption of governance processes, roles, and decision-making practices.

Key responsibilities include:

- Driving the implementation of the Data Governance Operating Model across multiple business domains.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to establish data ownership, stewardship, governance processes, and implementation plans.
- Partnering with business and technology teams to translate governance requirements into practical operating processes.
- Identifying implementation risks, dependencies, and organisational barriers, while recommending solutions to support successful adoption.
- Monitoring implementation progress and ensuring governance artefacts, processes, and controls are effectively embedded into business operations.
- Supporting the transition of governance activities into sustainable business-as-usual practices.
- Building strong relationships across business, technology, and leadership teams to influence and drive positive outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:




- Proven experience delivering data and digital transformation programmes within large and complex organisations.
- Strong experience implementing Data Governance Operating Models and governance frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance disciplines, including:
- Data Ownership and Stewardship
- Data Quality Management
- Critical Data Elements
- Business Glossaries
- Metadata Management
- Governance Processes and Controls

- Experience facilitating workshops and driving consensus across business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a practical and business-focused manner.
- Demonstrated experience embedding new processes, governance structures, and ways of working.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Previous experience working within highly regulated or governance-focused environments will be highly regarded.
